The Queen of Spain began her public engagements of the week in a meeting with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). She was photographed making her way to the headquarters of the AECC in Madrid.
As Honorary President of the association, Queen Letizia's role is to bring public attention to the subject of cancer research, and campaign for more resources. The AECC also works to improve the conditions for cancer patients and their relatives during treatment. Today’s meeting focused on the the preparations for the upcoming “Cancer Day”, which takes place annually on February 4th, and the action plan for the year ahead.
Letizia arrived at the headquarters rugged up in a new belted wool coat.
She debuted the Hugo Boss 'Canika1' belted wool coat rendered in a dark blue wool fabric. The coat was originally priced at £630 but has now been reduced to £379 at Hugo Boss (UK).
Under the coat Letizia wore a navy suit also by Hugo Boss consisting of a peplum jacket and matching trousers.
She premiered the separates in February 2013 and has repeated the set on many occasions since its release.
Queen Letizia complemented her professional look with a new leather breifcase. The carry-all is the men's style Hugo Boss 'Traveller_D doc' laptop bag (£550). The bag by BOSS is made from soft black leather with a natural grain and matt finish. It provides sufficient room for a tablet or laptop and additional documents.
She completed the ensemble with familiar accessories including her bespoke Magrit 'Mila' navy leather pumps and Coolook blue quartz earrings.
