Queen Letizia dons nautical style for Easter Mass

The Spanish Royals kept up their family tradition of spending the Easter holiday on the Balearic island of Mallorca.  On Sunday, King Felipe, Queen Letizia and their daughters Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia were joined by Queen Sofia for Easter Mass at the Palma de Mallorca Cathedral for Easter Mass.

Queen Letizia debuted a new pair of navy sailor pants. They are the the 'Pootsie' trousers (US$410) from French high-street label, Sandro. The pleated-front flared trousers feature a high waist and large buttons on the front. They are currently reduced to US$210 at Sandro Paris, or you can pick them up for AU$225 at David Jones in Australia.

Letitia paired the trousers with a new v-neck navy/white stripe knit top, which I'm yet to identify.

She contrasted the navy and white with a pop of pink - wearing her Carolina Herrera open front jacket which she premiered last month at ARCO, along with the Adolfo Dominguez pink fold-over clutch.

On her feet were the Uterque gold block heel pumps in blue suede. These date back to 2014, when she first wore them for a visit to the Canary Islands.

The service is a private family affair and is not attended in an official capacity as Head of State.

Felipe & Letizia's first attendance as a couple was in 2004, when they were engaged to be married. Since then they have attended annually expect for 2007 due to the impending birth of Infanta Sofía.

Here's a look back at the past Easter Sunday services attended my the Spanish royal family. It's interesting to see how their family has evolved ...

At first, I didn't like the pink jacket. I think that was because I wasn't a fan of the outfit she first wore - it's just not my type of style. But with this outfit, I really like it (again because this would be something that I would wear). Love the striped shirt -- and hope to check out TJ Maxx (thank you for this look for less section!). I think out of all the Easter outfits I would say 2015 is my favorite. Is the shirt that she's wearing with that 2015 outfit the same that she normally wears a red jacket with? If so, I loved it with the red and have something similar that I replicated it with but it looks fantastic with white. Only white and I are not usually the best of friends so I doubt I could copy that! :)

Hi CJ,

The blouse she wore in 2015 is different to the one she usually wears with the red blazer. You can get all the details of her 2015 outfit here: http://www.queenletiziastyle.com/blog/spanish-royals-attend-easter-mass.

Both are by Mango and have a similar print but this one is monochromatic with no red x

Actually TJ Maxx is a very good reference because I found a look-a-like white blouse with large black checks on it like the Queen wears at TJMaxx. I was able to find red patent heels and black pants and replicate her outfit almost exactly! Looks great to wear to work. I often reference this blog for outfit ideas for work.

Hi there thanks for the heads up about the trousers Queen Letizia wore at Easter Mass - I just bought a pair from DJ's.
