The Queen of Spain chaired the VI Educational Congress of the Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras FEDER (Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases) at the CEIBas Guadalentín. El Paretón, district of Totana, Murcia.  FEDER was established in 1999 to represent and defend the rights of people with rare diseases.

The conference is part of the CREDIBLE project, which seeks to share good practices among teachers from different European countries so that they have the tools with which to improve socio-educational attention. During the round table families and the national and international educational community transferred the value of 'technological innovation' and the possibilities for the rural environment in educational inclusion for an individualised response to minors with rare and undiagnosed diseases.

Thank you Pilar! I was away for a few days and then I was overloaded with a project for work so I had to put my blogging on the backburner for a couple weeks. It feels good to catch up!

This is a very unusual and different outfit that looks good on Letizia.
She has the poise and figure to carry it off with aplomb. Those sleeves are really funky and groovy. They remind me of another era in fashion history.

Sadly, I do not like any of the pieces of this outfit and the proportions feel unbalanced. The square neckline of the knit leans outwards towards the shoulders when the lines should be upright. The high waisted trousers make the Queen's waist look tiny, this is exaggerated by the puff sleeves which make her appear broad-shouldered. On a positive note, Letizia looks perfectly presentable and it's refreshing to see some bold colour!

If I may say, the style of this Uterqüe knit is very similar to the Massimo Dutti cream puff sleeve sweater worn last year (08/07/20). As I have said here before, I wish Letizia and her stylist would buy less and invest in timeless pieces rather than trends. Of the two, I prefer the MD sweater, it's roomier and its closed-back allows the shoulders and sleeves to sit better. I would have preferred the MD sweater styled with a pair of cream or navy, straight-leg trousers that hit just above the ankle, and tan pointed-toe pumps for a smart/casual outfit.

This could be a fun outfit but I find it looking bulky in photos. Possibly close up the fabric would have better drape. But the high puff sleeves and gathered pleats at the culottes waistline, both Uterque, are very pronounced. Perhaps the leg of the trousers is a touch wide, and bordering on clownish.

The effect is underlined by the shiny, clunky, block Uterque courts, which I happen to like very much. The red and white contrast is stark and appropriate for a public figure, and Letizia looks well in it.

Beautiful splash of colour, love the red, the Queen wears this colour so well. I like these pieces, but I am struggling with them combined, The pants are a tad wide, I think slimline pants, IMO would have looked better. Regardless the Queen looks great.,.
