As honorary president of the Spanish Federation For Rare Diseases, Queen Letizia was in Barcelona today to officiate the 2nd Congress of Rare Childhood Diseases. She looked radiant in a crisp white Felipe Varela pantsuit, signalling that Spring has sprung in Spain!
At the opening of the meeting, Her Majesty made a heartfelt speech and spoke of the need for the educational community to make a commitment that no child suffering from a rare illness feels left out, lonely, neglected, rejected or misunderstood.
Following the meeting, she took time to meet families and children living with a rare disease.
Letizia's white Felipe Varela wool crepe suit has been a staple part of her closet for many years, and today she paired it with a new dusty pink blouse, a perfect accompaniment for her Springtime style.

Letizia contrasted the pantsuit with a new mulit-coloured leather handbag from Malababa.
On her feet were the Miu Miu Mary Jane nude patent leather pumps with concealed platform.
Letizia completed her seasonal outfit with TOUS moonstone tier drop earrings.
Tomorrow night will be the highlight of the week, when King Felipe and Queen Letizia head to Copenhagen for Queen Margrethe of Denmark's 75th birthday celebrations. We can expect to see Queen Letizia don a glamorous gown and tiara!

I am not always a Letizia Fan but her engagement for children with a rare disease is exemplary. Love the white pantsuit from Felipe Varela.
