Fantastic to see this Dies Van Noten again and what a perfect pick for an Asian state visit with its Chinoiserie vibes. The black and gold jacquard is superb and I am so happy that the visit is giving Letizia occasions to showcase some of her best sheath style bodices with immaculate cut at neck and shoulders, and in the case of DVN, eye-watering fit.

The calf length looks perfect and elegant and the Magrit sandals are a 'must' repeat they complement the sheath so well. The Helena Nicolau earrings are also a worthy repeat. Fabulous to see this outfit again.

Thanks for using the term "Chinoiserie". I have been hearing a lot about this art form lately mostly in terms of decor. I finally looked up the true meaning and learned something. I am going to learn more because it is so beautiful.

I'm glad if you've met a new word. I'm no expert but I've always taken it as a fairly general term for Western takes on Far eastern style which has been ongoing since the 18th century. I bet a purist Chinese or Japanese artist would take issue with the Van Noten take on flower prints, but it works wonderfully for this pair of western eyes!

I really really love this dress it’s simply perfect, very chic, elegant and sophisticated. And what about these shoes? They fit perfectly with the dress.

This is a superb dress, I am so happy to see it repeated, if your going to re wear a dress successfully, this is the one!. The Black and gold print is perfectly crafted. The dress really is a work of art. In this case the length of the dress adds to its elegance. The Sequin trim detail at the underside shoulder area, I am in awe of! The shoes are simply divine. Perfection

Standout styling on all levels! The floral motif of the earrings matching the dress and the gold foils picked up in the sandal straps... 10/10 for this outift!

This ensemble is perfection, one of the Queen's all-time best! 2019's wearing had the edge with the stunning faux bob hairstyle. Just for fun, if I were to make one small amendment, I would choose some fabulous Oscar de la Renta costume jewellery. Their earrings have a little more depth than the Nicolau's seen above. But of course, Letizia was right to support a small Mallorcan brand!
