The King and Queen of Spain hosted the annual Diplomatic Corps reception at the Royal Palace of Madrid this evening.
Their Majesties greeted foreign diplomats and ambassadors as they arrived in the palace's Throne Room.
Queen Letizia looked resplendent in a bordeaux red Felipe Varela gown, featuring tonal lace detailing throughout.

She debuted the gown for the same event in 2013:
Her Majesty complemented the outfit with a new pair of burgundy suede pointed-toe pumps which we only got a glimpse of.

Queen Letizia made an interesting choice in the jewelry department today. She accessorized her haute couture gown with a new pair of costume earrings by Portuguese brand, Parfois. The multi-stone 'Garden Blooms' stud earrings have a budget price tag of only £5.99! Unfortunately the earrings have sold out in the multi-red colour, but are currently available in multi-blue.
