Queen Letizia gets the blues
The Queen of Spain held two hearings at Zarzuela Palace today. The first meeting was with the Spanish Association against Leukodystrophy, an organisation founded in 1992 as a means to raise awareness about the rare disorder which causes progressive degeneration of white matter in the brain.
She then met with representatives of a project organised by the Foundation for Help Against Drug Addiction.
As expected, Her Majesty looked professional in an all-blue ensemble. She recycled her Hugo Boss pant suit, which she debuted in November last year for the seminar on Nutrigenomics.
She teamed the suit with a tonal cornflower blue knit top which she first wore for the opening of the 2015/16 academic year.
On her feet were the Magrit 'Mila' navy leather pointed-toe pumps.
The highlight of the outfit was a new pair of blue stone earrings from Spanish jeweler, Coolook. The gold-plated drop earrings feature a big hand-carved blue quartz with matching stone stud. They retail for €179.
