Queen Letizia goes into military mode at FAD meeting

Queen Letizia attended a meeting with the Foundation Against Drug Addiction (FAD) today at their headquarters in Madrid.

The Spanish queen wore a mix of familiar pieces, including her black Zara Military jacket, which she teamed with her white Hugo blouse first worn in June 2015.

Letizia sported a new pair of black pants which appear to be the Hugo Boss 'Hervas' slim-fit cropped trousers (£149), featuring a seam down the centre front.

She carried her Hugo Boss 'Fanila' clutch, and on her feet she wore the Hugo Boss 'Staple R100-C' Black Crocodile-Embossed Pumps.

Letizia topped off the outfit with her Gold & Roses 'Skyline' crawler earrings (€2,107).

The Hugo Boss 'Bilinka' blouse that is shown has short sleeves. The photos of Queen Letitia show a white cuff. Is the blouse available in short and long sleeve styles?

I think the blouse Letizia wears, has long sleeves, we can see them. It was very cold to a sleeveless shirt, despite the sun.

Utter perfection from style wizard Letizia, love this to bits. The Sergeant Pepper jacket is so neat in black which tones down all that frogging but retains its baroque characteristics. The loose collarless blouse is perfect under the jacket mandarin collar and the crop pants are fab. I'm not a fan of fixed front seams on pants but these sit beautifully. Accessories are perfect, especially the touch of edge in the jagged shaping of the earrings. A simple enough outfit put together with effortless flair, and producing a flawless result. Bravo Letizia -- the rest are all beginners compared with you!

The Daily Mail has reported that the Zara jacket cost only 40 pounds. Letizia proves you don't have to spend a fortune to look great. Some other royals (whose name I won't mention) should take note. This is a great casual outfit. The slim pants are lovely and fit perfectly. And I don't know why but I love military jackets. They always make one look so smart.
