SKIRT: NEW! Hugo Boss denim midi skirt with topstitch details.  I have been unable to find the exact style in any of the Hugo Boss collections but the design is similar to the BOSS 'Bochiny' skirt.

5 Jun 2019 - Correction: it was originally communicated that the skirt was by Carolina Herrera, but it turns out we were misinformed.

Elizabeth, it is Hugo Boss:

Hmmm, I'm not sure that blouse is a match. Letizia's sleeve is a bit more extended and I don't see the gathered detail at the neckline.

The Daily Mail identified the blouse as Hugo Boss "Exina".
Price is 169 pounds.

They are wrong. Letizia's sleeve is a bit more extended and has a gathered detail at the neckline whereas the BOSS 'Exina' blouse does not.

Elizabeth, I trust your judgment because I know you are very thorough with your research. The Daily Mail has been known to make mistakes.

It is her favorite event, she loves reading, probably she went back with Leonor and Sofía.
She met lots of people even a poor little girl with cancer.

I like the lovely cream blouse and the sandals are cute. But the fabric and construction of the denim skirt looks cheap. The fabric looks very thin and lacking body so that the skirt doesn't hold it's shape. The sloppy and messy top stitching is making the seams all puckered instead of flat. I can't believe it's by Carolina Herrerra. It looks like something you would buy at WalMart for $15.00. Those large pockets at the front are also unflattering.

What's WalMart? I'm afraid I have never heard of it.
I have a similar skirt with those pockets, the fabric is for summer so it is not denim fabric if not cotto to be fresher. It is a very common style as the sandals, and espadriles?? , we say "alpargatas", maybe the most "Spanish" thing you can find.

WalMart is one of the major retailers in North America. It is American owned and very dominant as a department store carrying numerous products which offer great value to the consumer. Most of the products are made in China and it has a reputation of selling products at discount prices. Despite this they do sell some great products and it's very popular here.

Oh my goodness, we have a completely different take on the skirt, I could quite go off it now! I was thinking it was maybe a light chambray and what you see as puckering I was taking as the rich texture of an expensive fabric!! hahaha Vive la difference!!

The Queen looks fresh, modern and approachable. The sleeveless blouse is elegant and highlights the white stitching on the skirt, It's a casual ensemble with polish, perfect for a book fair on a warm day. Unfortunately, I don't like the sandals, they are heavy and ankle straps can make the leg appear shorter, I would have preferred the Magrit dove grey pumps worn on 03/07/18, but they may not have been comfortable for walking around in. The sleek white clutch and double dagger earrings round the look nicely. I love the youthful pony tail and summery makeup. If it weren't for the shoes I would really like this outfit.

She had to walk for at least an hour, the ankle straps are to hold the ankle. We go to work in those sandals , in the street, in the tube...

Mint &Rose is a Spanish brand, settled in Alicante, where a lot of shoes are made.

Hi Simone, I suspected that they might be comfortable, the leather looks very soft and with the addition of the ankle strap to hold the foot in place. I just had a quick look at the Mint & Rose website, it's wonderful that their products are designed and made in Spain. The company seems care about using good quality materials and preserving techniques which have been used for centuries, I can see why Letizia would want to draw attention to this brand. They make some lovely pieces! I favour their more casual styles which wouldn't have been appropriate with the rest of the ensemble - I did very much like the cloudy blue colour.

Thanks for sharing Stephanie. I've seen that style but unfortunately it's not a match for Letizia's blouse. Letizia's sleeve is a bit more extended and has a gathered detail at the neckline whereas this does not.

What a fresh outfit for an outdoor engagement. I would swap that tie for a belt though. The shoes look really nice. That shade of light blue usually strikes me as contrived when it is paired with pastels but with the denim and white I think it's pretty and modern.

I'm so sorry to see this is the second post running I've missed, I don't seem to be getting an email notification, are you still sending them? I've tried checking on the site and it tells me my address is in the system and I can't see a blocked account on my email.

I love the neat Herrera take on a denim skirt in a light fabric that sits well, better than a stiff denim. I like the generous front pockets dropping directly from the waistband and the white contrast seam stitching is a nice touch to lighten the blue. It looks very well with the pretty repeat white mock-neck blouse and the new shoes are heavenly, a fun touch in pale blue. The trusty dagger earrings are back and looking as well as ever.

That is such a good find Melody, but unfortunately Letizia's blouse does not have a ribbed neck like the Venice top:

Also, Letizia's blouse has a keyhole opening on the back:
