All the pieces in this outfit are classic and stylish. I love the brick red pullover and the tiny buttons on the cuffs lift it up a notch. It looks great paired with the large hounds tooth skirt. I realize some don't like the coat worn over the shoulders. But in this case it enabled us to see the rest of the outfit so it was a wise decision.

A deliciously snappy outfit from Letizia with the deep red HB Top over the same label's bold monochrome houndstooth pencil skirt.A black belt is good for definition, but maybe the busy skirt pattern doesn't need the extra ruffle. The Lodi ombre pumps are perfect to tie colours together and the Reliquae clutch is just great with its interesting angled edges. The lovely sweeping clean lines of the coat make it perfect for shrug purposes and it lifts the whole outfit beautifully.

This ensemble is a big improvement on recent outfits. It's striking, the trio of colours are balanced and there is finesse. The only thing I would change is the Burberry belt, as it has been worn on many occasions this year. It would be refreshing to see some of the other options within the Queen's collection. In addition, the pencil skirt sits too low on the waist for a waist belt. This has resulted in the ends of the Burberry belt not meeting in the centre. I would have preferred no belt and a little more overhang of the sweater. If the ensemble looked incomplete without a belt, a skinny black belt may have provided subtle polish. In regards to a wide waist belt, an elasticated belt would have hugged the body, and sat straight, but I doubt it would have been as sophisticated. The white coat is gorgeous, it is such a shame that we haven't seen it repeated before now. The single line of buttons on the double-breasted style looks modern and the thick fabric is as smooth as icing on a cake.

I agree. The Queen should get herself a new belt and pack up that Burberry one and send it to me ;-)

This is a refreshingly smart look. Gorgeous ensemble, with a dazzling combination of colours. The HB red wool sweater, is an excellent choice, the small buttons on the cuff add interest and lift the overall look. These type of pencil skirts are my favourite. Marvellous accessories, gorgeous unusually designed red clutch and Lodi pumps, offering stunning colours. The white wool coat is simply divine, beautifully tailored and the perfect length.

A gorgeous outfit! The coat is heavenly. It's fun to see a mix of old pieces create a new look!
