King Felipe and Queen Letizia marked Armed Forces Day with events in the capital city. The annual occasion honours men and woman who serve/served in the Spanish armed forces.
Their Majesties presided over the traditional parade at Madrid's Plaza de la Lealtad and then hosted a reception at the Royal Palace.
Queen Letizia wore a new black and white skirt suit by her head couturier, Felipe Valrela.
She coordinated the monochrome raffia jacket with a solid black a-line skirt and lace top.
Letizia accessorized with familiar pieces. She brought back her two-tone Mango patent box clutch which she debuted in 2011.
On her feet were the Prada nude pointy-toe patent pumps.
She wore her favorite TOUS cultured freshwater pearl drop earrings.
Here's a look back at Letizia attending Armed Forces Day events in previous years.
