King Felipe and Queen Letizia welcomed Spain's Prime Minister and his wife to their summer residence in Palma de Mallorca. Their Majesties hosted a luncheon at Marivent Palace for the newly elected leader.

Beautiful, lovely, floaty dress. I'd like to know what the fabric is; it's not mentioned. The King's summer suit looks great, too. The new PM is almost as tall as the king! I like Sra. Sanchez's dress also; it fits her beautifully.

Not Sra. Sánchez if not Gómez (Begoña Gomez), in Spain we keep our owns surnames..we don't wear husband's surname..

Wow, Letizia is really busting out the colours on this holiday and this is one 'floppy' dress - if I might call it that - which looks well on her. Some of her loose floral numbers seem a bit shapeless and in danger of swamping her. This one preserves her waistline and survives a loose neckline without fabric that flows and doesn't droop. Love those mules

Now I'm on a desktop and not phone I can see clearly where there is a large midriff inset on the dress which hugs it into the waist with the belt tied loosely on top, hence structure eliminates floppiness. And the fabric looks like lovely floaty chiffon hence it's light enough for a full gathered skirt without droopy heaviness. Nice work from Dominguez -- has Letizia only started wearing this label recently?

Haha, no need apologize! Letizia did have a Dominguez hiatus especially in the dress department, but this summer she has debuted three dresses from the Spanish designer! So I understand why you may think he's a new addition to her closet x

This is a lovely, beautiful dress that is very feminine. I especially love the coral colour. It looks great on Letizia. It's so nice to see her wear a vibrant colour for a change since she tends to wear white tops and all white outfits a lot lately. I also like the dress on the PM's wife. I know this is totally off topic but this new PM is as good looking as Felipe. Lucky Spain!!

Spain is represented by four very beautiful people…in the monarchy and the government. Letizia looks lovely in this floaty, vibrant dress. In fact, both ladies are dressed very well for a summer's day.

Hi Elizabeth,

Just an FYI on an outfit I think you missed which Letizia wore on Aug. 5. It consisted of a sleeveless white top that she wore with Adolfo Dominguez multi coloured striped trousers.

I thought you might want to add this to your collection.
