A classic 60s inspired dress which fits beautifully. Despite it's simplicity in design, it's quite eye catching. I love the length of the sleeves and the warm cream tone, however there are a few things I would change. Overall I think the look would have had more polish if the Queen's hair had been styled in a french twist (like the up-do on 22/02/17 - I thought her hair looked incredible that day) I would have also worn large creamy pearl studs to match the base colour of the dress and a pair of black shoes. From the Queen's current collection I would have chosen the black Prada saffiano pumps, if I were wish-listing I would choose something similar to Gianvito Rossi mesh paneled suede pumps. For a bag a small cream or black clutch, I often find nude accessories to be the easy option but not always the most exciting or sophisticated. Regardless of my changes the Queen looks elegant and the whole outfit is very light and spring like.

I simply adore this classic Herrara sheath with its bold contrast panels. It really fits the bill for a military context while retaining femininity and élan. Nude accessories are ok, not sure dark ones might be too much, but surely we are going to see this one again, maybe with fresh accessories, when it's such a signature style for Letizia.

Letizia certainly has the figure to wear this form fitting dress. It accentuates her great figure. I love the black contrast trim on the top of the dress. But I think black shoes and purse would have highlighted that detail more strikingly. .

34C!! Too much heat for somethig black that day. Water bottles were needed also to the rest of the people who were in the sun...

She told her military aid to provide bottle water to all the officials and Civil Guards standing in the sun. It was a summer day in Madrid. That's very thoughtfull of her.

PS: In the North of the country awful floods and cold, just in case you have heard something. Every region is totally different.

Ohm I love this dress. It is clean cut, simple yet classic and smart. Black accessories would have been my preference, but stunning!

Ooooh nice dress. Would have been interesting if she wore black pumps with it.

I can't wait to see her wear this dress again and again! It is perfect for so many occasions. I love the clean and simple lines in classic neutral colors.
