JACKET: Burberry white textured bell sleeve jacket. Debuted July 2008.
SKIRT: Black knee-length pencil skirt (unidentified).

I think Letizia is looking really well and healthy lately, which is lovely to see. Looking at previous years she's looked less relaxed. Lovely jacket.

I like the style of the jacket with the bell sleeves or as they are sometimes called lantern sleeves and the big buttons. I hate to be petty, but Letizia's hairstylist didn't do a good job on this day. Her hair looks very messy which is unusual for her.

I saw Máxima that way in India, the hair, I mean... Probably the humidity gets frizzy her hair....or a bad hair day.....The government has changed over the night, they need to be focused.

It's comforting to know even Royals have bad hair days just like the rest of us. I know firsthand how humidity can make hair uncontrollable no matter what you do......

This cute jacket is set off much better by the black pencil skirt than by the white ensemble Letizia wore previously. I think a low up-do would have enhanced it further.

Sorry I'm not sure what brand it is. I didn't even know who Letizia was 10 years ago so I have no idea if the jacket was ever IDed when she first wore it in 2008 HAHA xx

According to Nuria from Vanitatis the jacket is by Felipe Varela and I think that was the brand she wore mostly at that time.

I'm not fond of this jacket and your JCPenney pick rather underlines why, I find the styling too cluttered with the combination of both a sharp collar and the cuff ruffles. The substitute you suggest looks better to my mind with the plain crew neck. I love the big buttons though!

The sleeves on the jacket looks good. Her hair is awful on that day. Needed to be cut and styled. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
