The Queen of Spain ended her working week with visit to the headquarters of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) of which she is Honorary President.

WHAT LETIZIA WORE

DRESS: Hugo Boss 'Franca' Stripe Dress. Debuted in September 2017.

HANDBAG: CH Carolina Herrera 'Astrud' black clutch bag with metal bar flap. Debuted in July 2016.

SHOES: Steve Madden 'Plaza' mules. (was $110 - now $68.98). First worn in June 2018. The US website shows the shoes with a natural sole, but Letizia's mules have a black sole which can be found on the brand's European line available at YOOX. They are also available in Australia at David Jones.

EARRINGS: Laura Marquez 'Linear' white gold earrings. Debuted in 2001. Shown below in yellow gold.

I think this could probably be a very pretty dress from HB but I'm afraid the optics are too confusing for me, in print at least. It's a pretty shape and the skirt layers are nicely done. Once again Letizia's shoe game is strong, love those mules.

Bertie, I agree that the dress is hard on the eyes. But it's still one of my favorites for some reason. It's just looks great on Letizia.

Sandy, I'm very happy to hear the dress has a fan! It's a terrific shape on Letizia and I like the idea of it even if I find it hard to look at on-screen :)

I agree Sonia. The light could be playing havoc with the lines of the dress. But Marsha raised a good point that it is an artistic design and that is apparent with movement. That is what I look for in a great outfit: originality & artistry and this dress has both those things.
Look at the way the lines change from top to bottom both in width and the space between them. Fabulous!

The photo of Letizia walking reveals how much of the art of this dress has to do with how it looks in motion. Great choice for Letizia! I am glad she has worn it several times.
