On Day 2 in New York, the King and Queen of Spain continued their separate appointments at the United Nations headquarters in Manhattan. While King Felipe engaged in high-level meetings with world leaders, Her Majesty met with Jose Graziano Da Silva, director general of the FAO.
In June 2015, Queen Letizia was appointed Special Ambassador of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for Nutrition. The objective of the FAO's Ambassador Program is to direct the attention of public opinion to the eradication of hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition, as well as eliminating poverty and fostering economic and social progress for all, and the sustainable management and use of natural resources, including land, water, air, climate and genetic resources, for the benefit of present and future generations.
Following the meeting, Queen Letizia joined King Felipe at the UN General Assembly where he delivered a speech.
Queen Letizia looked on proudly as her husband addressed the assembly.
For her second day in the 'Big Apple', Queen Letizia opted to recycle her natural white Hugo Boss separates, a peice she introduced during the tour of Honduras in May 2015.
On her feet were the Magrit 'Mila' snakeskin pumps.
Letizia coordinated the look with a new python patterned handbag by Puntotres, a Spanish leather goods manufacturer.
It is the brand's signature "1704" model which comes in a range of colours and patterns.
Letizia's history with the brand dates back to 2009, when she visited the stall of the company at the an international footwear and leather fair.
The company director gifted Letizia with their "Princess" model handbag, inspired by "the freshness and naturalness of Princess Letizia" - states the designer.
Letizia was seen carrying the bag in September 2013 when she visited King Juan Carlos in hospital following an operation.
Today, Queen Letizia finished the look with her TOUS ruby, emerald and moonstone earrings.
This evening, Their Majesties will conclude their New York trip at a reception hosted by the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama and First Lady, Michelle Omaba.

Hi Kerstin, it is the 1704 model but they no longer have it in snake print. They do however stock it in solid colours: http://puntotres.com/producto/chic-basic/bolsos-chicbasic/
