Queen Letizia in quintessential Mallorca style for visit to Valldemossa

The Spanish royal family are on their annual summer holidays in Palma, and on Monday they chose the monumental complex of the Cartuja de Valldemossa for the backdrop of their first family photo opportunity while on vacation on the island of Mallorca.

King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infant Sofia visit Cartuja de Valldemossa on 1 August 2022

Their Majesties, accompanied by Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia toured the historic complex, followed by a walk through the streets of Valldemossa, where they ended their visit in a pastry shop.

Queen Letizia wore a sage green sleeveless blouse with a printed midi skirt by Spanish designer Pablo Erroz.

The Ikat print is characteristic of Mallorca, and the cotton skirt was created by hand by local workshops. It also features a wide waistband and invisible zipper in the center back.

The designer shared this photo of the custom skirt made for Her Majesty on their Instagram account.

She complemented the summer style with a new Whittelily Large Zahara Crossbody Bag and her Espardenyes Torres Flats.

I love the long A line design of this beautiful skirt as well as the fabric with it's lovely abstract print. The colour of the sleeveless top is perfectly reflected in the skirt. The casual accessories go well with it but I would love to see it presented in a more formal way.

I think Letizia looks good in this shade of green. I never knew you got a tag with your name on it when you bought something custom-made! Another perk! The girls look fantastic! Very age appropriate!

The close up photos of this lovely skirt, with the name tags, show how beautifully it is made. The cotton actually looks more like linen. The green top is a perfect colour match for the splashes of green in the skirt. The young princesses are such stunning young women with a strong fashion sense already.

This is a beautiful quality skirt. On the Pablo Erroz website it shows the fabric being made on an ancient loom. I love the ethics and principles of this kind of design so I would love to see this piece really showcased in a more formal way

The royal family all look very relaxed in their summer outfits. I envy them visiting Valldemosa which is one of the loveliest places I have ever been. I love the Mallorca ikat print on Letizia's skirt, and I think she is canny to team it with a neat dark top, very chic from Pablo Erroz. The skirt is beautifully made and hangs well.

Leonor's Sfera lace top looks very artisan and pretty, and Sofia looks great in her waisted Zara smocked dress, showing off her wonderful legs once again. I like her neat Polin e Moi espadrilles.

Letizia's crossbody bag looks very holiday-ready and I really like the neat Espardenyes Torres flats in their near huarache style. Very happy to see the good old Gold & Roses crawler earrings come back. Also impressed at how well Felipe rocks jeans!

This is a gorgeous skirt, of premium quality, a beautiful print on the fabric, love the cut and design of skirt. Her choice of top was perfect. Bag and shoes are fabulous. As always great to see the crawler earrings, stunning earrings.
