Letizia certainly rocks the colour red. I like this look, except I find the pants too long. In the first photo you can't even see her shoes. I would prefer the pants without the slits. The purse is amazing and her earrings coordinate well.

The young princesses are so pretty and almost look like twins. They seem to be getting more exposure, perhaps to prepare them for their future roles.

In fact this year it is the debut of Leonor as Princess of Asturias and Princess of Girona (titles the heir of the throne owns because the former kingdoms of Castile and Aragon), she is Princess of Viana because of the Kingdom of Navarra. The union of the three ancient kingdoms set up what we know today as Spain.

In Spain the Royals work a lot.

I agree that the pants are too long, but she does look great in red.

After so many new looks recently and her daughters debut at the 'Princess of Girona Foundation', I expected a repeat. This is a fabulous suit and deserves to be re-worn. The length and tailoring are exceptional and the Queen continues to wear this bold ensemble with grace and confidence. I've often wondered if it could be styled differently, but it would lose the drama it commands for a high profile engagement such as this. The fluidity of the trousers with the slit cuts is the perfect contrast to the structured symmetry of the jacket. Sadly, I do not like the shoes, I find them a little dated with the black soles and chunky heels, but they are an excellent match colour wise and enhance the streamlined effect. The Carolina Herrera clutch provides a needed burst of texture to the block red, while not being overly distracting. Minor quibble, I think a pair of more contemporary earrings may have been more in tune with the rest of the look. Perhaps, something gold and architectural to echo the clean lines of the Roberto Torretta and coordinate with the trim of the Maysa bag.

I'm not a fan of such exaggerated trousers in general, but Letizia carries this suit off beautifully each time she wears it. Love the snakeskin clutch adding a welcome and tasteful contrast. Fun to see the girls wear different, though still coordinated, outfits, it's good to see individuality emerge and I prefer Eleanor's hair without fussy curls.

A gorgeous two piece suit. Fits perfectly, love the side slits on trousers, adds interest. The jacket is divine. Red is definitely the Queens colour. Ruby dangle earrings I love. Shoes and clutch finish this outfit off beautifully. A very chic and elegant look.
