Queen Letizia in smart separates for visit to Alicante and Murcia after the floods

The King and Queen of Spain travelled to Orihuela (Alicante) and Los Alcázares (Murcia) on Friday which have recently been impacted by heavy rain fall.

Their Majesties were informed of the effects, met with representatives of organisations and volunteers who assisted during the floods and helped with the clean up.

Showing support with the crowds who had gathered to see them, they walked around and saw the aftermath of the damage.

Well, 6 people have died in the South East because of the floods, RIP, many have lost their houses, animals,harvest..., the emergencie servicies have been marvellous in helping to clear the devastation, they are slowly to get evething back to normal but it will take a lot of time.

And in the central part the drought is awful and we have water for some months only...the global warming is horrid. We are having 30 C in October....when the normal heat is 20C. and it usually rains a lot..

The King and the Queen are worried of their people...

Elizabeth, I hope not to bother you, it is not "Murica"...if not "Murcia"....it is an (two letters have danced.....lol)...Autnomous Community in the South East of Spain...
I understand it must be difficult, English is tricky for me as well...

She could not wear longer pants, they were walking on the mud....her shoes ended up all dirty, imagine the trousers.

Considering the seriousness of the occasion the Queen looks smart and relatable. There is a freshness to the delicacy of the white sleeveless blouse and it's knotted style neckline. It's balanced well by the perfectly fitting wide leg crops, the trousers appear almost stark of details with only the crisp front creases and a discreet belted waist, which was ideal for the nature of the engagement. The classic loafers have an elegant line and were no doubt comfortable and a sensible choice for multiple surfaces while being on her feet much of the day.

Lovely to see the Royal couple showing their support. The Queen's outfit is the perfect choice on this particular visit. Her top is pretty and works well with the trousers. Love those crawler earrings.

More crops? They look so much like others Letizia has worn! They still look great through not having too wide a leg and I really like the new Hugo Boss sleeveless top with them, the cutaway sleeves and raised collar add a neat touch of chic. At the same time the black-and-white is sober for visiting a flood-hit area, and I love the Hugo Boss loafers, handy for varying ground conditions. I shall always love the dagger earrings, Letizia looks as great as ever :)

I'll be happy when this wide-legged cropped pant trend is over but they're perfect for this occasion when you don't want wet muddy hems.
