Queen Letizia of Spain inaugurated the Instituto Cervantes headquarters in Los Angeles on Tuesday. It is the first to open on the west coast of the United States.

The Instituto Cervantes is an institution that was founded by the Spanish government in 1991 to universally promote the Spanish language, its teaching, study and use, as well as develop the quality and visibility of these, and to spread Spanish and Hispanic-American culture.

You mean the coat? No, this is a double breasted style where you can clearly see the buttons. The coat worn in Germany has not buttons.

It is wonderful to see a repeat of this gorgeous outfit. It has some interesting features which add to the loveliness of this blouse and skirt. The CH coat is fabulous, gorgeous. The Magrit pump shoes are simply gorgeous, the bag is a beautiful addition. The gold twisted hoops were the perfect finishing touch.

I'm glad to see the Cervantes Institute now has a US west coast hq. Letizia has opted for a low-key and charming outfit for the occasion. I'm not really a fan of the long slits on the UFO dress skirt as it seems to create too many confusing flaps, but the bodice with its puff shoulders and cuffs is very pretty.

The beautiful Herrera coat is a little too generous of double-breasted fabric to work easily in shrobe mode, and combined with the skirt flaps, I fear the whole outfit is looking a little top heavy on the Queen. The two-tone Herrera bag goes some way to providing relief, and the Magrit Laura thin-crossover-strap pumps remain a big favourite with me. Gold hoops are the perfect finish and Letizia looks very well in camel and cream overall.
