The Queen of Spain inaugurated the 2022-23 Vocational Training school year at the CIFP Aguas Nuevas in Albacete.

During the engagement, Queen Letizia held a meeting with representatives of the teaching staff, business owners, and students. She later toured the facilities.

The neckline of the top is beautiful. But the length of the pants is a bit odd or awkward. They should either be longer as a regular pant or shorter for a more 'culotte' look.

Oh dear, I'd just decided the pant length worked fine, but I think I know where you're coming from. This whole cropped thing can be very hit-or-miss, especially with a wider leg. Some days I can cope and others I'm right with you in finding them awkward, I suppose it must come down to my mood!

I love this blouse, the neckline is unusual, nice. The pants look casual but elegant. The Gold and Roses triple hoops are beautiful earrings.

Black-and-white has to be a go-to choice for inaugurating a school year and Letizia pulls off a nice combination of smart/casual with her outfit. The white Adolfo Dominguez blouse has a most unusual gathered neckline with what look like sewn-in reverse pleats. I like the look of the broad hem on the studio shot, adding a further hint of artisan smock, and hope we get to see it full length some day.

However it had to be tucked in to the wide-leg black Hugo Boss crops which look most elegant at a flattering length for Letizia and not so wide as to drown the figure. The broad belt is a great feature though I don't know why Letizia has to leave the end of it loose to break up the silhouette.

The Isabel Abdo Carrie slingbacks are very pretty with their buckle detail, but I think the width of the pant legs could have taken a higher heel. The slingbacks look in danger of fading away. I still love the Gold & Roses sparkly triple hoops Overall though I'd say it was a great outfit for the day.
