Located in Madrid, Residencia de Estudiantes was the first cultural center of Spain. Founded in 1910, the Student Residence was a vibrant hub for scientific and artistic work and exchange in Europe. Nowadays, it remains one of the most prominent cultural centres in Spain. It hosts concerts, conferences and exhibitions. It is also inhabited by around 20 young outstanding artists and researchers, which keep alive the historical legacy of this place.

Stylish, chic, and elegant - how does she do it? This is classic Letizia with the snappy bold check and elegant crop trousers, the button detailing is fun without being distracting. I love how she works the two-time theme in shoes as well. Somehow this outfit achieves all the stand-up qualities it needs while repeating Letizia's fondness for monochrome

Hi there, you may have a point there, at first glance it looked black-&- white to me! It's still Letizia sticking to a basic dark-tone-on-white which is monochrome-ish :-/

Sonia, here in Canada women are turning away from high heels and wearing more comfortable shoes. They are beginning to see how harmful and dangerous they can be. I very rarely see someone wearing heels like the royal ladies. In fact, high heels are being discounted in price because the stores want to get rid of them.

Here, in Madrid, nobody wears heels, only at weddings...I don't know in the rest of the country..

Omg Letizia looks great. So fresh, natural and chic. Great photos Elisabeth. I love your work. Her shoes are size 37! She is not as tall as one might think. For instance: I'm 1,72m tall and my size is 39. Kate Middleton is a size 39. She is taller than Letizia. I'm foreign. I love to talk about height and weight 😂😂😂😂

Not very fond of pants style, otherwise - perfect! This is why keep an eye on Letizia. 2016-2017 in the past gallery were great outfits, 2016 in particular. She glows in white/gold.

I hate saying something bad about Letizia, but all this black and white, navy and white etc. outfits are starting to be boring. They are easy to make and you dont have to be very talented to wear like that. I like the shoes howewer.

Melania is in hiding. I don't know if the will be there to welcome Felipe and Letizia. If she is, it should be interesting. Both women are beautiful and fashionable. Although I think Melania has more interesting clothes and outfits. Not necessarily what I would wear but they are interesting.

The trip is New Orleans, San Antonio, Washington. An American friend of mine has said they are going toc come back a Christopher Columbus letter from 600 years ago. "El mundo" nwespaper tells that Melania can't fly for a month however she to receive them. We'll see anyway. She dresses perfectly, Letizia doesn't have so much money, they have lowered their own salary..

Amaia, it's true Letizia's budget cannot compare to the Trumps. But she has proven you don't need to spend huge amounts of money to dress well. Sometimes the very rich have no taste or style and it doesn't matter how expensive their clothes are. They still look awful.

I like the shape of this top - it's just fitted enough, and the length of the sleeves almost to the elbow looks neat and efficient. It works well with the cropped trousers, and the shoes add pizzazz. What a wonderful look in 2017!
