Queen Letizia joined her husband today for engagements in Madrid to round out her last day of royal duties before the start of summer vacation.
First on their agenda was an audience with the Federation of Evangelical Religious Entities of Spain (FEREDE) at the Palace of Zarzuela.
Next, Their Majesties visited the headquarters of the dedicated telephone service "016" for victims of gender violence.
Letizia opted for an understated professional style in a combination of navy and white.
She teamed classic navy trouser pants with her white Uterque white relaxed-fit keyhole blouse which we first got a glimpse of at last year's visit to San Rosendo Secondary College.
Letizia wore her navy Magrit leather pumps and offset the simple outfit with her reptile-embossed clutch bag by Italian brand, Coccinelle.
Letizia coordinated the look with her bespoke TOUS blue stone and baroque pearl dangle earrings.
As mentioned above, today was the last official engagement for the Queen of Spain before the royal family head to Mallorca for their annual holiday. They are expected to arrive on the Balearic island this weekend. Stay tuned for the traditional photo session in the gardens of Marivent Palace - their summer residence on the island of Mallorca!

Letizia always looks stylist to include today. However, given that the men in the photos were wearing suits, shirts and ties, I do think she looked a bit too casual. With the exception of the high shoes, this is something I'd wear to run errands.

It is for victims of gender violence, she must come across simple and casual.

Laura, you to the words right out of my mouth! I too have wondered why on some occasions (and they are all official occasions) Letizia chooses to wear very nice dresses or suits and other times she just goes causal and as you put it, she wears something the average woman would throw on to run errands. Is there some kind of protocol to this? Would governs the degree of formality she needs to express in any formal or official function? Even if she would have included a jacket or blazer in her outfit it would have been more in keeping with her usual image of being so very spot on pulled together. And we know her closet seems to have no limit of outfits so it must be a deliberate choice on her account to either dress up or not dress up.

Love this outfit, the elegant drape of the top is perfect and the ensemble works well in a group shot alongside all this men in suits. That's an incredible clutch and the earrings are ideal. Clever Letizia!
