Later, Queen Letizia met with representatives of the Federación Española de Daño Cerebral (FEDACE).
It was day of audiences at the Palace of Zarzuela for the Queen of Spain. Her Majesty first met with the winning team of the XXXIX Edition of the Handball "Copa de S.M. la Reina."
Later, Queen Letizia met with representatives of the Federación Española de Daño Cerebral (FEDACE).
The Spanish queen looked chic and professional in a classic black and white ensemble.
Letizia teamed black slim trousers with a new grid pattern knit top by Hugo Boss. It is the BOSS 'Ferie' short-sleeved sweater (£219).
It features a distinctive check and double-layered effect achieved with a tube jacquard construction. Made from viscose, this contemporary top is styled with a high crew neckline.
I believe the trousers are also new. They appear to have a pleated front and side zip closure.
She coordinated the look with her bespoke black and white Magrit pointed toe pumps.
Letizia topped off the outfit with her old favourites, the white gold 'Linear' earrings by Laura Marquez (shown below in yellow gold).

Here is another example of how a very simple, uncomplicated outfit can look great. The top adds just enough detail to keep things interesting and not boring. The pants are lovely with the pleated front and side zipper. At first glance, I thought the shoes were slingbacks until I read the description and noticed they were actually black & white. They help pull the entire outfit together.

Great look! I wore a sweater with that kind of check this week ;-) Those pants are really cool with the narrow ankle and I like the black and white pump. This look strikes me as really fresh in the cuts and professional in the colour.

Queen Letizia of Spain looks very chic, smart and professional. It reminds me of her previous career as a professional journalist before marriage.

I love this outfit; I hate that I struggle so much to find a moment in which to comment because I also love this blog to bits!! The Boss sweater is divine, I'd love to have that piece myself, but I already have a similar windowpane check in a long-sleeve silky tunic. Good news for my bank balance then. Letizia has matched it brilliantly with those superb Boss pants which do all the right things in all the right places for her. No other woman could wear such a pleated trouser waist and still look that trim! The way they taper to the ankle is perfection and the length is excellent, long enough to be dressy, short enough to be chic. The Magrit pumps are an inspiration and help transform a basically ordinary work outfit into a thing of style wonderment and black-and-white genius. Brava!

Letizia looks smart and professional. It's a look she pulls off well, simple lines, good details and proportions. Those trousers are lovely, very elegant cut. Love the shoes!
