On Thursday, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia hosted an official luncheon at the Royal Palace in Madrid in honor of the visit of the President and First Lady of Guatemala.

The newly elected President, Bernardo Arévalo, and First Lady Lucrecia Peinado are presently on an official visit to Spain. Prior to the luncheon, the President participated in a meeting with King Felipe. Both Their Majesties and Their Excellencies warmly greeted guests before the lunch.

EARRINGS: TOUS emerald cascade earrings (repeat). The earrings feature a detachable string of emeralds, which Queen Letizia removed for this outfit.

The print on this dress is dramatic, although the material looks stiff. I do like the style that Letizia chose, over the other two styles shown. Happy to see the lower heeled shoes that are so much easier on the body.

I wonder what Letizia is going to do with the hundreds of pairs of very expensive high heel designer shoes she has collected over the years.
She must now invest in lower heels.

Expensive? Magrit shoes cost about 200 euros, not expensive at all and all of them made in Spain. Also, most of them are old, she has worn them for years.

Yes, I know about Letizia's foot problem. That is why I pointed out that we won't be seeing the high heels she has worn in the past.

I don't mean to be argumentative, but for the average person 200 euros for a pair of shoes would be expensive. People are struggling to pay for their food and rent.

Actually in Spain people buy good shoes, It is considered important, also for the health. Maybe other things are less important. More than100 euros, even 200 is normal.
Expensive shoes are about 1000 euros.

I love the strong colours and abstract print of this CH Oleander dress, it looks very well on Letizia. If it has a fault it is that the waistline sits a touch high, but I'm too fond of it to really mind.

The dress seems to adapt well to the lower heels Letizia is adopting and I very much like the cutaway sides on this Magrit pair. Letizia always loves to do something a bit different. The shortened Tous cascade earrings are just right for smart daywear.

Its fabulous to see a rewear of this beautiful dress. The color scheme, design and print is marvellous. Overall, a very stylish and elegant look. The emerald cascade earrings, I love, a welcome addition. The kitten pumps in Navy leather look great.
