This is nice. I like black with a metallic shoe. Nothing exciting but I'd wear it.

Letizia's black dress looks fine, although somewhat plain. Not sure about the thoughts behind the hand bag. It looks like something you'd take on a picnic, whereas the shoes say cocktail time.

Laura, the bag is by a Colombian brand and references a traditional mochila bag. It's made of metallic thread and very expensive. I think it was an apt choice for the occasion

Milly, I have no doubt that the bag has cultural significance and that it was expensive. However, it looks very casual. I don't think it coordinates well with metallic, gold shoes.

The dress is OK but it needs a spark in the form of some dazzling jewelry or accessories. A pearl necklace or brooch would have added some glitz. It looks a bit plain and dull and is quite a contrast to the First Lady's very colourful outfit. Letizia's hair looks great though.

A lovely sleek black sheath which looks good on Letizia and also holds up ably against a formal setting and other more expensive tailoring, It seems to be quite the find from And Me Unlimited. The neckline has a nice bateau touch to it and the shoulders are slightly scooped out giving added cachet.

I'm loving the gold slingbacks to liven up the classic LBD and notice the Queen has opted for lower kitten heels from Magrit. The new Verdi bag in metal threads is really cute

I like this dress, its subtle, stylish and elegant.
The metallic gold shoes were a clever choice.
