I remember when Letizia first wore this dress it was with a matching blazer. It's nice to see it here without the blazer. I think it's a lovely dress and I like the contrast between the two different fabrics. The lace skirt, sleeveless top and pastel pink colour are very feminine and appropriate for warm weather,

The Felippe Varela Chantilly Lace dress is a magical repeat, such a well-judged mic of immaculate fit on the bodice contrasted with the frothing full lace skirt below. There's more than enough texture and interest in the lace to justify Letizia keeping her arms free of jewellery, and her Yanes flower blossom studs are just the right amount of feminine decoration.

This is a very pretty outfit, feminine with a beautiful full skirt. The pastel colour I love. The lace skirt and the fitted bodice work in well together. This was a fabulous choice. The Queen looks stunning.

I'm delighted to finally get the chance to comment on this dress. The Queen looked sublime for the arrival of the President and First Lady of the Republic of Korea. Varela has triumphed in the romancing of a 1920s inspired, drop-waist, midi dress - the result is heavenly. Softly pleated Chantilly lace moves like a dream against the close-fitting bodice, creating the most feminine of silhouettes. The drop waist elongates Letizia's figure, while the slender belt highlights the smallest part of her waist bringing the whole ensemble together. Minor quibbles, I have mentioned before that I dislike the plastic straps on the Steve Madden mules. I wish Letizia had repeated the suede Magrit pumps worn in 2018 with the dress. A youthful updo would have provided further elegance and prevented her hair from being blown all over her face. Lastly, the blossom earrings are beautiful, but I would have been thrilled if Letizia had repeated her delicate Yanes diamond nautilus earrings (see link). The scalloped edges are reminiscent of lace and they haven't been seen publicly in years.
