The King and Queen of Spain presided over the 101st edition of the ABC International Journalism Awards, at the new ABC headquarters in Madrid.

The ABC International Journalism Awards 'Mariano de Cavia', 'Luca de Tena' and 'Mingote' recognise the professional career and the best journalistic works published by media outlets in the categories of regular journalism, photojournalism and drawing.

ABC is a Spanish national daily newspaper. It is the second-largest general-interest newspaper in Spain, number one in Madrid, and the oldest newspaper still operating in Madrid.

During the black-tie gala, His Majesty gave a speech where he remarked upon “the challenges in this area are innumerable, but the essence of journalism will always be the same: inform, train, entertain, disseminate, create opinion ... To contribute, in short, to the critical spirit of a society that recognises in respect of freedom of information, freedom of expression and the constitutional principles and values that are the basis of our laws, the solid bases on which our democracy is sustained”. The event concluded with a dinner in honour of the winners.

Thank you very much for your answer, You're right...this model is not in Magrit catalogue, though and it's really identical to CH iconic model, so it looks like Letizia commissioned them a copy of CH...

I love the unusual style of this dress. It incorporates a classic coat dress with a contemporary twist. The metallic shoes are amazing and perfect for an evening occasion.

It´s still a nice dress but the fact that the collar is more modestly worn this time really detracts from this dress's glamour. The new way of wearing it makes it look more like an overcoat, less like a dress.

In 2019 when the Queen first wore this dress I loved it. Sadly, the dress didn't look as strong yesterday evening. Letizia has raised the neckline to protect her modesty, this has unfortunately altered the drape of the dress. As a result, the dress has lost some of its 'effortlessly sexy' appeal. On the wrap front, the notch lapel should flow all the way to the hip, on Letizia, it now stops under her bust. This may have been a garment that was best left unrepeated, so it could be remembered affectionately. Lola Li made the 'Carli dress' in white only for the Queen. At the fitting, I wish a more luxurious fabric had been suggested, such as lined silk, and the neckline sensitively clasped. White can be unforgiving, at the very least the dress should have had a heavier lining, which would have prevented the underside of the wrap style from being seen through the fabric. Metallic silver accessories look fabulous, I look forward to seeing what Letizia will wear the gorgeous slingbacks with next.

She is one of the most elegantly dressed ladies in Europe. Her ability to wear different styles and choose clothes from a different price ranges, materials and appeal to all age ranges is amazing!

However, she seems to have limited her choice of shoe! She had an amazing range of shoes a few years ago, but now seems to have settled on the same design in different colours.....

The Queen looks lovely, but I am not a fan of this dress. As already mentioned the drape of the dress know altered due to raising of the neckline, it doesn't look as good as the first wearing. I love the choice of shoes and clutch, fabulous colour.

I still adore this fabulous Lola Li dress. It has an ageless grace and elegance while espousing a thoroughly contemporary vibe. The dropped ruched waist is so perfectly judged to look stylish and not as if the wearer might be wearing a sack, the revere collar gives an edgy hint of tuxedo. The silver Magrit slingbacks and ufo clutch are perfect for evening as are the exaggerated hoops. A big win for me.
