The Queen of Spain attended the XIII edition of the "Luis Carandell" Awards for Parliamentary Journalism at the Palacio del Senado (Palace of the Senate) on Thursday.

Queen Letizia of Spain attended the XIII edition of the

Her Majesty presented the "Luis Carandell" Journalism Awards in the categories of "Parliamentarism" to Antonio del Rey Muñoz, and "Territoriality" to Joaquín Anastasio González, Loreto Gutiérrez Prats, and Silvia Mascareño Díaz.

I like everything about this dress...colour, style, fit. So glad Letizia chose burgundy shoes, as I didn't like the look of the nude ones worn in the past. The earrings are an especially good choice.

I love this dress. Its stylish, chic and elegant. The red colour suits the Queen beautifully. Its a wonderfully tailored dress, the fit and cut is perfect. The piping is so well done, I hadn't noticed it before the extent of, along the bodice, especially the sleeves it just oozes class. The shoes oh, divine, the black sprinkling at the top of the shoes, lovely. The burgundy clutch bag is stunning. As always the ruby and diamond drop earrings are stunning.

Love this entire outfit. I especially agree with Laura , burgundy shoes are a much better choice than nude colored shoes.

The burgundy shoes are just gorgeous. I love the crocodile effect on the toes and along with the burgundy purse and earrings give some contrast to the red colour of the dress. Mixing different tones of the same colour looks great,

I love seeing the close fit of this Carolina Herrera dress again although the waistband seems to be riding up a bit this time. It's a wonderful colour on Letizia and the seaming and keyhole neck detail and are superbly done. The new Magrit clutch and shoes are quite heavenly, the crocodile effect a great contrast and the trim on the shoes very slick.

However the star of the show for me are those divine Aldao Joyeros ruby cabochon and diamond drop earrings. A terrific look in which to honour the journalism awards.
