The FAD is a private, non-profit, non-denominational, apolitical institution, created in 1986. Its mission is to encourage the personal and social development of adolescents and young people through education in positive attitudes and prevention of social risk behaviours, including drug use.
During the meeting, the strategic plan for 2021-2023 was discussed along with how the COVID-19 crisis has affected different FAD projects, in addition to strengthening the image globally of FAD as an entity that works for the youth.

Elizabeth, are the boots new? In Spain it is said she wore them last year, I can't find the photo though.

Wendy, the boots are not new. She wore them in January 2019. HOLA has the exclusive photos: https://www.hola.com/moda/actualidad/20190130136578/reina-letizia-sofia-jersey-compartido

Sadly, this ensemble doesn't work for me. I am not a fan of the coat and overall the look is missing finesse. Whenever I think of iconic Burberry trench coats (made in wool, cashmere or gabardine), I imagine sharp slim-fit tailoring cinched in by the signature buckle belt. I find this design fussy with the shirred/elasticated waist and gathers that stem from the detail. On previous occasions, the Mango trousers have been worn with heels, the extra height ensured that they were perfect in length. The low heeled boots sit uncomfortably under the narrow hems and have subsequently created excess fabric in the legs. Also, if you look closely at the 1st full-length photograph you can see that the Prince of Wales check doesn't meet across the inside leg side seam line. When the Queen wears trousers her lightweight sweaters would look neater if she tucked them loosely into the waistband, as she usually does with her skirts.

This outfit is a rare miss for me. Coats such as this, with elastic waist I am not a fan of, much prefer sleek and tailored look. I love the trousers, but with the lace up boots, it doesn't look well matched. Heels would have given a much more polished effect. Regardless the Queen looks comfortable and lovely as always.

Actually, when she was a Princess, she did not use to wear heels. And in her first years as a Queen she started to wear them sometimes, but it was lately when she has worn so many high stilettos.
In fact in Spain she has been critizised because here nobody wears heels, only at weddings ot things like that, it does not represent the country at all.

A great working outfit with adept use of monochrome with the plain top and black Burberry against the elegant PoW check pants from Mango. The Uterque lace-ups are terrific and add a fine touch of edge to the whole.
