This is a great outfit that combines some classic pieces. The tweed dress never goes out of style and the length is perfect on Letizia. I love capes and this off white version is no exception. The colour of the cape is interwoven in the fabric of the dress so they look like they were made for each other. I like that it's hip length and worn open showcasing the dress. All of the accessories are lovely. Honorable mention goes to Mrs. Mattarella whose outfit is also well put together.

Thanks for your appreciation of the cape, Sandy, you're helping me to look at it afresh!

Sorry, not Mrs Matarella, Laura Matarella is his daughter, not his wife.

I find Letizia's pretty white Hugo Boss cape a bit washed-out in this pale sunlit context, and almost a touch juvenile. I love the UFO tweed sheath, its classic, close-fit shape suiting Letizia to a tee. There's a welcome edge of femininity in the bracelet sleeves which help lighten the bulk of a complex texture.

I find it noticeable how much better the tweed tones look against even a small amount of colour in the soft grey Furla Handbag and Magrit pumps, even the nude belt looks a bit too pale. The Chanel Plume earrings are lovely, and overall it remains a fine outfit for an official welcome.

The clean design of the dress is the perfect canvas for the softly textured tweed. On previous occasions (worn without the cape), one could appreciate the quality and impeccable fit. The mix of woven colours is beautiful and very soothing. For me, the strongest wearing of the dress is (23/01/17 - see link). The ensemble was uninterrupted by a needless belt, and the pretty moonstone earrings and cross-over pumps complemented the dress quietly.

Minor quibbles, if the Queen's hair were neater I may find the overall presentation much improved. The loose hair, swing cape, and belt clutter the dress. I would have preferred Letizia's fitted cream wrap coat (12/11/14), no belt, earrings that could be seen from a distance and a simple updo.

This is a wonderful outfit, very chic, stylish and elegant. The cape is divine. Though it is pale in colour, I think it blends in and works well with the tweed tones of the dress. I love the UFO Sheath dress. Divine interwoven tones. This garment is tailored well, it fits perfectly, love the length. Beautiful, delicate but subtle Chanel earrings. The nude belt I love, the Sabbie Grey handle bag, (I would love Santa to bring me this for Xmas LOL!) combined with the Magrit Leather pumps, total win. This is a really lovely well put together outfit.

I like this dress. The muted colours are pretty, it is quite classic and will still be in style years from now. I especially like it paired with grey shoes and purse, although I don't care for the platforms on the shoes. I do wonder why Letizia has platforms on several of her shoes. Is it a comfort thing?
