The Queen of Spain was on hand today to deliver the tenth edition of the Proyectos Sociales Banco de Santander awards at Las Alhajas Palace in Madrid.
Banco Santander Foundation collaborates with non-profit entities in projects that contribute to improving the quality of life of vulnerable groups.
Queen Letizia showed off her fashion-forward style with a new colourful geometric ensemble by her go-to brand Hugo Boss. She teamed the BOSS 'Felisabeth' short-sleeve sweater (£169) with a coordinating colour-block leather midi skirt.
Here's a look at the back of the outfit.
She complemented the outfit colours with her orange croc-embossed Ángel Schlesser clutch and a bespoke pair of camel Magrit 'Laura' cross-strap pumps which Letizia debuted at the presentation of the Electronic Biographical Dictionary last Thursday.
Letizia finished the look with her citrine and diamond white gold earrings.
What did you think of today's outfit?

I like the top and the shoes. That’s it...and separately :)

This outfit looks better from the back. Those front color block panels are a bit much. Also the leather in the skirt looks to be rather stiff, which is strange for any high end brand. But as always I have to give her credit for always being willing to try something new and different.

I thought this outfit might be improved if they removed those huge, ugly, orange pockets from the skirt. But then I realized there is orange in the top and you would be left with all beige which wouldn't match.I just don't like anything about this outfit except for the shoes. This is another strong candidate for "worst Letizia outfit of all time:.

Sandy, and I wholeheartedly agree. I am not sure what is going on with Leticia lately - but it all looks like a middle-age crisis to me. I used to look up to her and at times emulate her style, which always drew compliments at work. Not anymore.

Wow - that is BUSY! I love the top but find it hard to reconcile with the skirt, I can't quite see how all the tan got in there. The combo looks great from the back where the toning waistband does it's work. It was a good idea to keep up the different colour tones in accessories which look great. She's fond of her leather, isn't she, with leggings, skirt and culottes somewhere at the back of the wardrobe.

I like all the pieces separately just not together. Although I will say this is a very Letizia look so I think it suits her.

I just noticed the outfit displayed on the model and I think the skirt looks better when paired with the solid orange top. Letizia's blue/orange printed top was too busy for the skirt and made the outfit hard on the eyes.

Well, I like the shoes and the earrings. The rest is a disaster.

I think the whole outfit would look better with one colour top...It is a bit too much like this, but it is interesting...
