Atlàntida Film Fest was launched in 2011 as the first online film festival in Spain, the objective was to introduce the public to the best international films that could not find a place in theatres. After exceeding 150,000 spectators and being elected Best Festival in Spain by the Ministry of Culture (ICAA) in 2015, Atlàntida has continued to evolve and therefore has consolidated a physical venue expanding the format.

The film 'The Political Chief ', a French production, directed by André Hugon and shot in Mallorca in 1925, was screened. The screening marks the world premiere of the restored version of the film, which was thought to have been lost for decades. The restoration was undertaken by the Sound and Image Archive of Mallorca and the Spanish Film Library.

Gorgeous! Such an elegant look. The blue silk is gorgeous and the shoes complement it well. It's nice that her clothes aren't always high end.
Thank you for this blog, it's always good to look at!

A new outfit is such a rarity these days so I'm delighted to see one I like so much, and from a new label for the Queen. The Galcon Studio separates seem nicely judged to me to encompass loose styling along with fashion chic and wearability. I imagine some might question the latter given how much of Letizia's shapely legs are on display when seated, but here's no doubt that it makes for interesting evening wear.

I love the drape neckline on a sleeveless top, contrast between fullness and brevity there. And I like the way the waist sits quite low - though it could possibly benefit from a belt as per the model -- and how the draping is used to mask the cross-over style which only releases its full impact when the wearer moves and reveals a high slit. Modesty is neatly mocked. I love the midi length on such a slim silhouette and admire the originality packed into such an affordable pieces.

The navy CH clutch is modest, but then the metallic Magrit slingbacks add another racy edge, along with the large Coolook hoops. A truly fine summer evening outfit with avant-garde aspirations, so in keeping with the film gala and mixing with the likes of Judi Dench. I love it.

The navy colour of this outfit is divine and the choice of silver metallic shoes is a vast improvement over those bulky sneakers worn by the model. The draping on both pieces is very striking especially for an evening event and the scalloped hemline is unusual. .I would love to see each piece worn separately with more conservative items like a straight skirt with the top and a fitted top with the skirt.

I love navy and this outfit looks fabulous. The drape neck top is really stunning, love this. This two piece outfit is simply chic! The silver slingbacks are sensational, the small navy leather clutch, is the perfect finishing touch.

A price tag of just under 300 Euros seems a fair price for this Galcon Studio set. The design is sophisticated, but the pieces are made of viscose, a cheaper alternative to silk. With a few minor tweaks, this could have been a fantastic ensemble. On Getty and in photograph 4 above, you can see that the waistband dips down, rather than sitting straight. This may be caused by the weight of the draping. If the waistline sat high and straight, the set would have looked neater overall and reduced excess fabric in the top. A simple navy patent belt (with the fastening at the back) would have completed the look and covered the unnecessary belt loops. Lastly, I would have preferred a dainty silver box clutch. It would have been more glamorous than the CH 'Baret' which is often used for working meetings. Over the last few years, I've noticed the Queen often chooses garments that give the impression of silk (two Cherubina dresses, Lola Li white dress, Matilde Cano floral gown, Galcon Studio separates above, etc). At some point, I would love to see Letizia invest in a fully lined buttery silk dress, that is beautifully made and timeless in style. Special mention to Dame Judi Dench, who at 86 years young looks very elegant all in white.

This outfit is a sophisticated and sexy look for Queen Letizia (wispy hair strands excepted). It is a great choice for an awards evening with the creative community. Love the dress and shoes.
