WHAT LETIZIA WORE
TOP: NEW! White cap-sleeve blouse with mock neck (unidentified).
It's difficult to say but the back of the top appears to have a zip or a keyhole opening.
PANTS: Hugo Boss 'Telareama' Snap Detail Wide-Leg Pants. First worn Easter Sunday 2018. and again in June 2018 for Board meeting of the Student Residence.
SHOES: Magrit navy leather pumps with contrast top (bespoke). Debuted June 2018.

It's looks like we are back to black & white. I find this outfit boring. Something you would put together without much thought. I really don't understand Letizia's love affair with white. I think she looks better in bolder colors and white tends to wash her out and make her look pale.

I think it's navy and white to match the white blouses of the women of APRAMP, a worthy and important organization to combat the abhorrent practice of human trafficking.

I've commented before about calling these cropped pants culottes. I don't think it is the correct term. So I looked up the word on Wikipedia, that under women's clothing says: "Modern English use of the word culottes describes a split or bifurcated skirt or any garment which hangs like a skirt, but is actually pants." Merriam-Webster Dictionary say, "a divided skirt; also : a garment having a divided skirt —often used in plural. The Oxford Dictionary says, "Women's knee-length trousers, cut with full legs to resemble a skirt."

You win LOL I know these are not technically culottes but it flowed better in the title rather than writing cropped pants HAHA. Moving forward, I'll stop using the term since it upsets so many ;)

Not trying to win here, just be correct, Elizabeth. When I was younger my Girl Guide uniform was in two parts…a long sleeved top and culottes on the bottom. It was great! The pants were very full so it looked like a skirt bottom and a dress, when paired with the top in the same material. It was dressy enough for parades and badge ceremonies. But when we were on the floor, or playing games, the culottes were most practical.

You have my sympathy admin, it can be a real brainteaser to get a headline that fits, only those of us who've tried doing it for a living can fully understand! I'm happy to allow journalistic license, though I can also see where Laura's confusion arises.

At first sight, I said: Oh no, boring, navy and white again. But actually, it is great! This pants finally look elegant, buttons, earring, great shoes... Simple but perfect!

I think Letizia looks terrific here. Despite not being a fan of wide-leg crops I find myself wholly on board with this Hugo Boss pair. They're not too wide and I like the buttons down the sides which break up the plain fabric. The blouse is beautiful with soft feminine gathering and that neat mock neck. The Magrit pumps set the outfit off perfectly with their subtle contrast detailing against the uniform navy of the pants.

This is the best outing of the Hugo Boss pants so far. I love navy and white together, crisp, polished and professional. In a team full of red sports jerseys she stands out.
