Queen Letizia reigns in red at commemorations marking 40th anniversary of Spain's first elections28/6/2017
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia chaired a special session in Parliament today to mark the 40th anniversary of Spain's first democratic election in 1977.
Her Majesty looked regal in red as she stepped out in a new Carolina Herrera guipure lace dress.
Below we see the sleeveless fit-and flare frock worn by Loren Gray at the Carolina Herrera Spring 2017 Show. However, I believe the piece is from the designer's Evening Fall 2016 collection.
Here is a look at the back of the dress.
Queen Letizia accessorized with a new pair of beige Prada glossed Saffiano leather pointy-toe pumps (US$650) and a new red clutch bag with a satin panel down the centre.
The handbag is the 'Mary' model from Magrit (€240).
Today we saw the return of the diamond and ruby bracelet which dates back to October 2007 when Letizia wore it to the Royal Gala Dinner in honour of Slovakian President. Its provenance is unknown.
She coordinated the bracelet with her Aldao Joyeros ruby cabochon and diamond dangle earrings.
