The Queen of Spain attended the ceremony of '2021 Medal of Honor of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando' in Madrid on Monday.
The Medal of Honor is awarded each year to a person or institution, Spanish or foreign, that has distinguished itself in an outstanding way in the study, promotion or dissemination of the Arts, in artistic creation, in the protection of the Natural and Cultural Historical Heritage, or has provided extraordinary services to The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
Her Majesty presented the 2021 Medal of Honor of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando to the Hispania Nostra Association, a non-profit entity founded in 1976 for the protection, promotion and enhancement of Spanish cultural and natural heritage.

I've been no fan of this Varela skirt suit on previous occasions but this time round I really got it. The embroidery always seemed out of place against the smart tailoring, but in video I saw it fell into place beautifully. It was thoughtful of Letizia to keep wearing it until I caught up!
