Her Majesty first welcomed a representation of the association Visual TEAF,  a nonprofit association formed by families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (TEAF). The association fights for the rights of those affected and aims to improve the quality of life of families with children and young people affected by the disorder.

Queen Letizia later received a representation from the Federación de Asociaciones de Celíacos de España FACE (Federation of Celiac Associations of Spain).

I am not a fan of handkerchief style hemlines, so this dress is a rare miss for me, but in saying that I always try to look for positives, components of the dress or outfit, I really like. I love the top half, the collar and tucking of the bodice. The tailoring is perfect, the shoulder seams are positioned well, their does not seem to be much gather around the area. The fabric flows beautifully on movement. The underside of the belt with its burst of rust colour I love, a unusual lovely addition. Cosmopolitan rust tones are offset by the pale pastel colour of the dress. Choice of shoe colour is splendid. Tous earrings are gorgeous, dainty and feminine.

The Queen looks impeccably polished. Rust coloured pumps match the graphic print perfectly and help counteract the sugary pink base of the dress, Letizia was wise not to restyle the ensemble with pink/nude shoes that she owns. Turned up sleeves add a touch of informality.  As a result, the outfit feels lighter overall.  The gathers either side of the waist appear to stem from the neat pintucks on the bodice, the weight of the skirt looked graceful during motion. A flattering effect was achieved when the Queen was seated, the soft chiffon elegantly spilled out over the chair. This look barely differentiates from its first appearance, but different styling may have been a downgrade to the sophisticated colourway.

I like a classic shirtwaister and the print on this Hugo Boss is good for me, I'm just sorry we have to go through this fashion for asymmetric hems. HB tailoring means it's done as well as could be hoped, but the effect is intended to be untidy and I can confirm that for me right now it seems kind of messy.

Not sure about the earrings, a nice way to reflect the spacing of white background against the print, but maybe something more chunky might be better for definition. The dress itself I felt was better complemented last time by wearing a tan leather jacket which framed the print nicely. Great shoes, the Magrit shade is a nice match for the contrast colour on the dress tie. Letizia of course looks wonderful as always, effortlessly elegant and classy, a credit to her country.

Thank you fellow posters, I'm asleep on the job again, not a white background at all, but pink, which is what gives warmth and secure base to an otherwise fragmented pattern. Thanks also for highlighting skilfully tailoring the use of bodice pintucks to feed into the gathers of the skirt.

I love this take on handkerchief hemlines. The queen may have immersed herself too deeply in the trend over the past few months, but each one was different, and in each case she has carried it off with a certain panache. These hemlines are an acquired taste, but the key is the volume in the skirts. Well done!
