I don't care for this look. To me the jacket with it oversized pattern overwhelms the Queen. I do note, however, how nicely the plaid matches as the pocket flaps etc. align. And this is a personal dislike, that I don't care for cropped pants with high heels. To my crops are a casual look better worn with ballet flats, loafers or sandals.

I love this blazer and I'm happy to see it repeated. It's a gorgeous design in striking black & white especially the discontinuous pattern of the houndstooth (solid/faded).. This makes the pattern classic yet unique and modern at the same time. However, I prefer regular length slacks instead of the cropped version.

The Uterque check is a very striking jacket though I think it might be better for publicity purposes rather than ordinary living - it certainly works for a Queen who needs to stand out from the crowd. The black cropped trousers are a fun item though I'm not a big fan, and it's a shame the tie belt peeks out from under the jacket hem. It all combines to make an effective working outfit to announce a business award. Love the Hugo Boss croc pumps.

Love the oversized houndstooth jacket. It is beautifully crafted, houndstooth aligns well, the buttons are gorgeous.
IMO, the cropped pants and jacket do not work well together in this instance. I would much prefer long fitted pants. Looking at the January 2020 outing of this jacket it worked well. The leggings gave this a much better finish. The proportions are off with these cropped pants. Love the shoes.
