The Queen of Spain accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic of Korea, Kim Jung-Sook, visited the ONCE Foundation headquarters in Madrid.
The ONCE Foundation is committed to an inclusive labour market that, from the paradigm of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, addresses the employment of people with disabilities as an opportunity for all. Her Majesty and the First Lady toured the facilities to see first hand the training and entrepreneurship initiatives for people with disabilities.
At the end of the visit, Queen Letizia and the First Lady bought two coupons from the Organisation with the number commemorating the beginning of diplomatic relations between Spain and Korea, on March 17, 1950.

The Queen looks lovely, as always. While I adore the toffee slingbacks this ensemble feels a little basic for a State Visit - maybe it's because we've seen the dress styled casually for the tour of the Autonomous Communities last year. Massimo Dutti's lookbook styling elevated the dress with a belt that had a double circle buckle detail (see link). The belt and a pair of black low block-heeled sandals (with two straps, one over the toes and the other around the ankle) may have made for a more considered outfit. Special Mention to First Lady, Kim Jung-Sook also, who wore some beautifully made clothes, that befitted her role while never looking ostentatious.

I should have added that if polka-dots were Letizia's preference for the day, the Massimo Dutti polka-square pleated dress 14/11/19, or the Emporio Armani polka-dot jacquard midi dress 14/02/20, may have been more uplifting options for the event. Three-quarter length sleeves may have been uncomfortable in Madrid yesterday, but judging by what everybody else is wearing I assume the Foundation is air-conditioned.

Actually the protocol has been vey low in general because the covid. No tiaras, no gowns, not jewerly. The reception with half the people that usually attend a state dinner. Also you must added that Korea is a Republic in Asia, not a Monachy as Japan, for example, the protocol is much more low in general.

The spotted Massimo Dutti has made a pretty and accessible dress for a working engagement, the keyhole neckline and cap sleeves are feminine and sweet. I think the dress works better dressed up with formal courts and clutch than with espadrilles last time, and I like the non-matching tan Herrera courts and black Herrera clutch, the contrast helps lighten the monochrome. The irregular pattern of spots are chic and the lowered back hem isn't too overstated to spoil a gentle vibe.
