The designer of this dress is Alejandro de Miguel, there is the same gown in red.

I must have missed that memo! Did the designer confirm it?

I have checked with Núria Tiburcio who has reached out to the designer ... he denies the design is his.

Thanks Elizabeth, there are bloggers who are not accurate. It is very normal unfortunately nowadays in general about news.

It's really frustrating when bloggers get it wrong and don't bother to check details or get confirmation.

This is a beautiful dress. The royal blue colour is gorgeous and it is very well constructed. It drapes beautifully over the body from the shawl collar to the one button wraparound closure. The design creates a very elegant, clean and simple look - minimalism at it's best.

Letizia can wear this wrap-over gown as often as she likes, I love it on her. It encapsulates the best of her style with its elegance, perfect cut, and a hint of zing in the single rhinestone button, trumpet sleeves, and deep side slit. The shawl collar is so beautifully done, and sits like a dream without gaping.

I like her hair up in a sleek updo this time, appropriate for a formal palace reception, and the diamond cascade earrings are drool-worthy and so on point with the sparkling single button below

This is a stunning dress. I love the regal colour and the style is understatedly elegant. It is beautifully tailored and hangs so well. I do think that on walking, a tad too much leg is showing. Fortunately Letizia's hair is neater looking compared to the last time she wore this dress.

The Queen looks beautiful, I prefer Thursday's wearing of the gown to 2020. Letizia's neat updo enhances the clean lines and the diamond cluster earrings are divine. The fit of the gown is impeccable, the wrap style in smooth crepe elongates her figure while subtly drawing the eye towards the waist. I adore the Nina Ricci suede pumps, the deep cut and curved heel add a hint of seductiveness to the timeless style. Looking back at past years my favourites are the navy two-piece 2011, the beaded chocolate gown 2012, the embroidered teal gown 2014, and lastly the gorgeous red gown 2017. The oval of lace on the bodice of the red gown (2017) reminds me of an antique cameo pendant, it's placement is utterly regal.

I am so glad to see a rewear of this sensational gown, I am imagining this in red! lol!. I love it. The colour is superb, suits her beautifully. The gown is both elegant and majestic. What appealed to me at first glance, initially, was the shawl collar and how cleverly it was incorporated, blending down to the waistline, sublimely. Single button adds to the chic, understated flow, less is best. A rewear of the suede navy Nina Ricci pumps, spot on. I prefer these diamond, cascading earrings, as opposed to the stud earrings last time, so pretty, as well as her hair styled this way, lovely. The split highlights how well this gown moves in motion. Again the gown points out, the perfect posture of the Queen. Looking at past choices, which were all gorgeous gowns, 2008/, 2015 and 2018, stylish and graceful, but this beauty is still my favourite. a winner!

Here in Hola and Elle it is said that earrings are Harry Winston's. Do you know anything about this Elisabeth?

The design is very much reminiscent of Harry Winston but I'm not sure if this information was ever confirmed.
