Queen Letizia returns to Nina Ricci for the COE gala

The King and Queen of Spain presided over the XVI annual gala of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and the tribute to the Tokyo 2020 Olympians, at the Headquarters of the Spanish Olympic Committee, Madrid.

During the gala, distinctions were presented to the gold medalists, recognitions to the silver medalists and honours to the bronze medalists. King Felipe VI gave a speech and there was a musical performance by the soprano Pilar Jurado. Concluding the event, Their Majesties held a meeting with the attendees.

Letizia has brought out some lovely sparkle with this super Nina Ricci two-piece repeat. It's a winning design with the collar-style halterneck, and the neat slim skirt means that for once her full cape looks good worn over the top.

She has complemented the sequinned boucle fabric with her diamond and sapphire bracelet and the beautiful diamond cascade earrings. It is a pleasure to see a smooth updo allowing the earrings to be appreciated.

This outfit is simply divine. Its a classic two piece outfit, that looks stunning. Love the cut of the tweed top, front and back. I prefer the neat skirt of the Queen as opposed the models design skirt. The diamond and sapphire bracelet is gorgeous, blends wonderfully with the ensemble. A lovely finishing touch the subtle but delightful diamond cascading earrings.

Any time I see Queen Letizia and Nina Ricci mentioned together, I know the Queen will have a winning look. It's a stunning outfit and she looks fabulous in it. She has chosen her jewellery with care, keeping it toned down as the two piece dress and skirt delivers all the va va voom needed.
