Queen Letizia was informed of the impact of COVID-19 on families living with a rare disease, where 94% of cases have seen their care interrupted due to the pandemic. During this time FEDER has carried out a series of strategic actions to respond to the most urgent needs of the group. Concluding the meeting, FEDER conveyed its priorities in the medium and long term, including the importance of telemedicine.

I like these Hugo Boss pieces, they are classic with interesting details. The navy piping that travels around the back of the blazer is a particularly attractive feature. In addition, the fabrics are of good quality and the tailoring is strong, but overall this look lacks polish and the proportions are off. If flat shoes were the Queen's preference on Wednesday, slim-fit navy cropped trousers would have flowed better. The wide-leg cropped trousers need heels to help balance the larger proportions, thus elevating the outfit (Letizia has previously worn these trousers with heels, and the combination was successful). This ensemble is low key and sadly it only works from the waist up. Special mention to the president of FEDER, Juan Carrión, his attire is often uplifting (while being completely professional) considering the serious nature of his role. I've noticed that he also has the most incredible selection of colourful spectacles!

The jacket and pants are perhaps a better match colour-wise than style-wise, from what you're saying. I thought the flats just looked comfy, and was surprised to think Letizia had carried them off, but I can see what you're saying about proportions. Not sure the first pic is most flattering, it makes the jacket look as if it come a little high, though the effect is not so marked in the side view. One for me to chew over!

They have spent these two weeks in Madrid, at home. Other years they have a private holiday abroad.
I agree with Jennifer about the outfit.

She must be sonting out their daughters' back to school. As Sofia is 13 she will have full classes, however as Leonor turns 15 in October, she will have half agenda online (as the rest in Spain..)
All parents are tied up....her last issue was the clothes...I'm afraid.

I appreciate seeing Letizia in grown-up clothes again, though I do hope the royal family had a lovely holiday meantime. I'm very fond of this neat and adaptable Hugo Boss boucle jacket and think it looks well with navy pants. The pants look quite wide on the model but on Letizia they seem a reasonably narrow fit and not too short for a crop. I don't personally like the buttons up the side of the legs -- too flamboyant for my severe tastes!! But I'll live with them because Letizia still looks lovely in them. They look good with the HB loafer flats too.

I agree: The proportions of the slacks and shoes are all wrong. Makes her look stumpy. Also the color match isn't good. I wonder if she had a foot problem and needed to switch from the high heels.
Also I think that the outfit looks very very warm for the time of year.

Actually in the morning in Madrid it was about 13C degrees. The temperatures plummeted for some days, obviously she knows the temperature in her town better...

They are not publushing their agenda anymore, so journalist do not know what they will do. Probably she even thought nobody was goung to see her in fact in Spain I doubt anyone is following her clothes right now, nobody cares, there are more important things as the schools.

ELIZABETH!! , we do not have too much information about Australia in Spain, however the media has said you keep into lockdown for more time.

How are you doing, darling? Here they are trying to open the schools..Up to now hospitals are managing it well and track and trace is increasing... Time will tell...

Hi Wendy, yes unfortunately our lockdown has been extended until our case number reduce to about 5/day. I know this must sound crazy to most Europeans and Americans that we are in hard lockdown with such little case numbers but our government is aiming for elimination of community transmission. Only time will tell if we achieve it. I hope you stay safe and well x

It was not a winner for me. I love these separates separately..however together..it just doesn't look really good. I agree..there is definitely something off with proportions.
However it is just a rare miss for QL.

This is a wonderful blazer, it is a perfect fit. I loved it the first time the Queen wore it. The pants are casual, comfortable, I like them. The combination of blazer and wide legged cropped trousers in this instance I dont think blend well. Regardless the Queen looks great. I love the flat shoes, I confess I am a lover of them. If I can ever get away with it I wear them as much as I can! Even a small heel shoe may have altered the appearance of the pants for more levelness.

I like the flats and think it's a nice change from the very high heels.
