The Queen of Spain resumed her royal duties today following a month long summer vacation at the royal residence in Palma, Majorca. Their Majesties visited the Museo Picasso Málaga, a museum in the city of Málaga, where artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born. Prior to entering the museum, the King and Queen did a walkabout and even poised for selfies.
The royal couple gradually made their way into the museum where they viewed 43 new additions by the artist, which complement the 233 already on display in the museum.
After touring the museum, Their Majesties were guests of honour at the XIXth Spain-United States annual dinner, attended by select business leaders from the public and private sectors of the two countries.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia repeated a black satin Felipe Varela sheath dress, which she debuted last November while on tour in the USA.
The dress features a classic tank silhouette with an embroidered mesh back panel.
She accessorized the dress with a black satin clutch bag and platform heels which are reported to be by Hugo Boss. These shoes are the same ones she wore last week to a concert in Palma de Mallorca .

Letizia's outfit was complemented by a soft, sweeping up-do, understated make-up and her dazzling "wedding" earrings.
