The King and Queen of Spain commenced their working week at Zarzuela Palace where they attended audiences.
For the occasion, Her Majesty recycled the Carolina Herrera colour-block dress, which she premiered at the National Culture Awards in February.
The dress is rendered in wool crepe and features a key-hole neckline. The strategic black, navy and ivory colorblock pattern gives the illusion of a slim hourglass figure.
On the topic of recycling, today Queen Letizia revived the Laura Marquez 'Linear' white gold earrings, a token from her "past life".
These earrings have been with Letizia for at least 14 years, well before she meet Felipe. She was first spotted wearing them at the TP de Oro award ceremony in 2001, where she received the award for best TV journalist under 30 years of age.
The long, straight bar earrings are handmade from lustrous 18kt white gold and feature matte tips. Here we show them in yellow gold from the the Laura Marquez website (€419):
Letizia debuted a new pair of black strap platform sandals from her footwear designer of choice, Magrit.
The shoes are the bespoke version of the Magrit 'Vanessa' peep toe heels (€290). Letizia has opted for an all-black style featuring a mix of smooth leather and patent snake-embossed leather.
Queen Letizia has only one other engagement this week, ahead of her week-long visit to Honduras and El Salvador next week.

A lovely outfit. I find it amusing that the color block pattern gives " the illusion of a slim hourglass figure", when indeed she already has a slim hourglass figure.
