On Monday evening, the King and Queen of Spain concluded the first day of their State visit to Portugal with a gala dinner in the town of Guimarães.
Queen Letizia dazzled on the red carpet in her black Carolina Herrera gown as she made her way to the reception hosted by the President at the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza.
Letizia first wore the ready-to-wear gown for her maiden gala as Queen, when she and Felipe hosted a banquet at the Royal Palace of Madrid in honor of the visiting President of Chile in October 2014.
The stunning black mermaid-style gown features a tiered lace which overlays a nude lining. It has a scalloped illusion neckline, finished with short sleeves and a thin grosgrain belt. It retails for US$5,990 and is available from Neiman Marcus.
Letizia accessorized with her familiar black suede Magrit clutch bag, a modified version of the brand's 'Nassa' clutch.
Tonight, Her Majesty wore Portugal's Grand Cross and Sash of the Order of Christ with a diamond brooch.
She finished the look with her beloved "wedding" earrings and Cartier white gold and diamond column bracelet.
Tomorrow will be another busy day for the royal couple. They will visit the Park of Science and Technology ahead of a stop at the Stock Exchange Palace for lunch with Portuguese and Spanish businessmen. They'll end thier day with an official dinner hosted by the Prime Minister of Portugal.
