The King and Queen of Spain hosted the pre-ceremony lunch of the 'Miguel de Cervantes' award today.
Held at the Royal Palace of Madrid, the lunch brings together authorities, academics, editors, critics, teachers, booksellers and writers to honor the award-winner on the eve of the ceremony of delivery, which will take place at the University of Alcalá.
The prize is one of the most regarded literary awards in Spain and Latin America, and is granted annually to honour the lifetime achievement of an eminent writer in the Spanish language. This year, it was awarded to the Spanish novelist, Eduardo Mendoza Garriga.
Today's lunch was the second literary engagement in less than 24 hours for Her Majesty, who last night attended the Children's Literary Awards wearing a youthful bardot top. This afternoon, Letizia opted for a more conventional look, repeating her Felipe Varela colour-block dress.
She first wore the sheath dress at ARCO 2015.
Today she reworked the dress with her neutral Prada Patent Pointy-Toe patent pumps.
Letizia also kept her jewelry simple, opting for a pair of classic pearl stud earrings.

I have a similar dress, but it looks a thousand times better on Letizia! Elegant as always, sophisticated and streamlined. Queen Letizia really is the best-dressed royal in the world
