Tonight, the King and Queen of Spain presided over the event commemorating the 20th anniversary of the newspaper, La Razón.
Queen Letizia arrived at the "La Razón" headquarters in Madrid with her black Carolina Herrera A-Line Belted Coat draped over her shoulders.
Underneath it, she revealed a new sleeveless black satin top (unidentified) and a new Zara pleated metallic thread skirt (US$119).
Letizia carried her Nina Ricci 'Arc' black leather clutch.
She wore her black elastic suede pointed toe over the knee boots. She first wore them last Friday, at her mother-in-law's 80th birthday party.
Queen Letizia completed her look with a mix and match of the Gold&Roses Milky Way earrings and the Sun Balance earrings.

Something is off with this outfit. It could be the length of the skirt combined with the boots that is overwhelming on Letizia. I think the skirt is a little too long for her and should have been shortened by about 3". I do like the metallic look and the pleats. I have one by Joe Fresh in silver grey. I don't like those boots but the black coat is nice.

I agree Sandy. I do think the skirt is a bit long. And I also have the silver one. :)

Maya, glad to hear we have the same taste in clothes. I'm interested to know how you style your skirt?? I haven't worn mine yet but plan to pair it with a white blouse with grey print.

Since it is kind of a statement skirt I usually keep it very simple. White, black or grey blouse and black shoes. It goes really nicely together and the skirt really "pops". Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
