Queen Letizia slips into black satin dress for Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest

The Spanish royal family have made their annual summer trip to Mallorca where they will attend official events before having a private vacation. On Sunday evening, Queen Letizia presided over the closing ceremony of the 12th edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest at the La Misericordia Cultural Center in Palma.

Atlàntida Film Fest was launched in 2011 as the first online film festival in Spain. The objective was to introduce the public to the best international films that could not find a place in theatres.

The beautiful beaded clutch, bejeweled sandals and dazzling earrings add some captivating interest against a rather simple and dull evening gown. The dress really shows off Letizia's ultra slim physique which is really amazing for someone who is almost 50 years old.

This simple sleek black dress accentuates how slender and toned Letizia is. Given that the purse and shoes both had gold in them, I would have opted for gold statement earrings...but that is a very small quibble.

Letizia's black satin slip dress helps her look like the archetypal film buff, beautifully accessorised with the Mango Jaquard beaded clutch and Magrit studded flat sandals, both relieving the monochrome dress with touches of gold and sparkle.

The & Other Stories label continues to punch well above its weight as this dress is another example of something that can hold its own on the royal stage while remaining accessible. The generous Coolook silvery hoops are the perfect finishing touch to a great outfit.

I don't normally like Satin dresses' such as this, but I do like this one, mostly I feel the body of the dress has movement, it isn't skin tight, that's appealing to me. Q. Letizia really makes this gown look fabulous, it suits her beautifully.
I love the cut and style of this dress, combined with the gorgeous Magrit Sandals (i love!) and colored patterned clutch, this works well. Makeup looks natural, she looks beautiful.
