The FPdGi annually calls the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards with the aim of promoting and fostering initiative and effort, scientific research and artistic creativity, solidarity and the development of the talent of young entrepreneurs and innovators who show concern for building a fairer world in a globalised environment and who have the ability to take risks and the motivation to induce changes in society.
After the presentation of the awards Her Royal Highness the Princess of Asturias and of Girona spoke a few words in which she expressed her joy at "returning to Catalonia, in Barcelona, where almost two years ago I was able to learn about the important work that the Foundation does" and emphasised that "now when young people need more than ever to be heard, the work of the Foundation is even more relevant."

This pretty dove-grey Nina Ricci midi-dress looked well worn without a belt, but for a more formal occasion here the belt has returned. It's still very attractive, svelte and neat, with its soft embellishment in small clusters of sparkle. The Magrit Hera sandals continue to suit very well, though it's a shame other footwear can't be brought into play for a switch-up.

The dress has suitably subdued look which works well if Letizia is hoping to merge into the background a little, while her increasingly confident daughters stand out in both bright red and sharp black-and-white.

I love this dress, especially when worn with a belt. I agree with you Bertie, that a different shoe might have been a nice change. A soft grey suede shoe would have been appropriate.

Queen Letizia looks fabulous in this beautiful Nina Ricci dress. She knows this outfit pairs really well with the Magrit sandals. Why change a great match? The belt adds a semi official look to the outfit and is en pointe. It is such a lovely dress that it deserves a lot of wears.

She must be very proud of her daughters. Their dresses have a real summery vibe and look youthful, befitting their age.

This is a beautiful, elegant dress that fits perfectly. The Queen looks lovely. I must confess, I do prefer it with the belt as worn here, to me it completes the outfit.

Indeed. This dress is a winner. I adore the model's styling with the boots!
