The King and Queen of Spain paid an early morning visit to Mercamadrid - Spain's largest food market wholesaler based in Madrid to learn about the challenges in getting food to Spanish households during the COVID-19 pandemic.

After a brief explanation of the Mercamadrid facilities, Their Majesties toured the central fish market and fruit and vegetable stools. During their visit, they also had the opportunity to speak with Mercamadrid staff, service companies, and organisations that collaborate in COVID-19 management. Before departing King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia applauded the workers in appreciation.
Queen Letizia wore a black fitted knit top and slim trousers offset with a Prince of Wales check blazer by CH Carolina Herrera.

The £750 jacket features a single breasted front with flap pockets, notched lapel and black buttons.
Interestingly, Spanish designer Roberto Verino offers a blazer with the exact same silhouette and check pattern. From what I can see, the only difference is the colour of the buttons.
In the photo below we can see Letizia's jacket has black buttons and is hence wearing the Carolina Herrera model.

She complemented the menswear-inspired look with her Uterque Eva sole bluchers. They were first seen in 2017 during a private shopping trip in Madrid.
